Evocative Original Artwork

After painting commercial landscapes for nearly nine years I've been seeking to paint some new looks and take a few steps in a different direction.  Although it seems I am still drawn to the natural design of the tree, this past spring and summer I worked with trees but added more depth.  I am also enjoying painting urban landcapes.  So, I'm still developing new approaches and more are in the works.  It's been nice to slow down and really think about what I want to paint.  Above is "Man AND the Moon"  48" x 48"
